READ THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES:
1. The car is new
2. Three white flowers
3.The boy's tall

The underlined words are adjectives; an adjective is a word that describes  a noun, providing additional information about its qualities (colour, size, shape..)

• Adjectives usually come BEFORE the noun. E.g. "This is a nice dog."
• Adjectives can come after a linking verb. E.g. "She is happy."
